Baby Gift

Here is a gift I made for a friend at work. I love the fabric I used for this baby car seat cover!

Here is a burp cloth and onsie that I made for her too.

Aprons

I have been sewing...I've made so many aprons in the last couple months it's not even funny. Here are some of the fabrics we have done with my pattern.

They are in China being made right now. Look for them to be sold on http://www.ohmycrafts.com

Blush

I have loved all of the fabric that Basic Grey has put out. Blush is no exception. This is a wall hanging I made for my boss, Sandy (from Oh My Crafts). I've been wanting to do a quilt like this and it was easy and fun to make. Now I'll just have to make one for me! :)

I Finished Something!

It's about time that I got something finished! I've had the top and the back done for this quilt for at least 3 months now. It's just been sitting there, begging for me to quilt and bind it! So the other day, with a million other things I should have been doing, I pulled it out and began quilting it. I was about half way done when I ran out of thread. I went to Broadbents the next day and got more thread and finished it up! Take a look, I absolutely LOVE it!

I used Moda's Figgy Pudding by Basic Grey. I saw this material and had to have it last year at the quilt shop hop! I used Mary Cottage Quilts' Crossroads pattern. I loved every minute of making this quilt, from start to finish. I have to say sometimes after I finish the top, or I've quilted it, I just wanted it to be done. But this one I thoroughly enjoyed the whole way through. Mary, from Mary's Cottage Quilts, was actually at our quilt guild the night I brought the top of this to show off. It was a little intimidating, but she said she loved it!

I'm so glad to have one of my projects done! I'm working on a few others. I'm hoping this year will be a HUGE year of completion and closure for me! Here's to 2010!
